Biddeford rallies to edge Gorham in early season thriller

GORHAM—The highly-touted Biddeford field hockey team has been involved in two high-scoring thrillers so far this fall.

Friday, the Tigers couldn't hold a late lead and settled for a 4-4 home tie against nemesis Cheverus.

Tuesday, Biddeford erased three separate deficits and again clung to lead late in its contest at Gorham, and this time, the Tigers managed to hold on for a pivotal victory.

And it becomes ever clearer that there is virtually no separation between the finest teams in Class A South.
