Building a winner in the 'Brook

It's time to take notice of the Westbrook Blue Blazes.
A team that believed it could become something special this year on the gridiron and has accomplished exactly that over the first three weeks of the 2025 season.
The Blue Blazes, who might lack the football pedigree of many of their rivals, more than make up for that with their passion and belief that things are changing for the better.
So far, so good, as Westbrook sandwiched victories at perennial top contender Marshwood (27-16) and at home over Biddeford (55-21) around a hard-fought 25-7 setback at reigning Class B champion Falmouth.
And the best is yet to come.
