Cape Elizabeth field hockey is a team on the rise

What a difference a few goals can make.

Make that a lot of goals.

In 2024, Cape Elizabeth's field hockey team was competitive almost every time out, but the Capers put the ball in the cage just six times in 14 games.

And wound up 2-12.

Fast forward to September, 2025, where Cape Elizabeth scored 31 times in eight games.

And posted a record of 6-2.

It's been a dizzying turnaround and the Capers believe that their best is still to come.
