Cape Elizabeth girls avenge lone loss with win over Yarmouth

CAPE ELIZABETH—One month after conceding an early goal in a loss at Yarmouth, Cape Elizabeth's girls' soccer team, the reigning Class B state champion, got off to a fast start of its own against the Clippers in a pivotal midseason showdown Saturday afternoon at Hannaford Field.

In the game's fifth minute, freshman Pippi Hooper scored from senior captain Addie Miller and the Capers never looked back.

And yet another triumph was the end result.
