CAPE ELIZABETH—Cape Elizabeth's girls' lacrosse team danced with the prospect of both victory and defeat Saturday afternoon at Hannaford Field.

And after running the gamut of emotions, the Capers opted for exhilaration in a thrilling midseason showdown against visiting Thornton Academy.
