FREEPORT—It hasn't been an ideal start to the season for Freeport's girls' basketball team.

Cape Elizabeth, meanwhile, has been thrilled with its beginning.

Monday evening, the script flipped as the host Falcons put together their best effort of the young campaign and got in the win column for the first time, flustering the Capers from start to finish.
