Gorham edges Scarborough in Saturday morning showdown

SCARBOROUGH—Gorham's field hockey team found itself at a crossroads a couple of weeks ago, as a promising season was hanging in the balance.

But the Rams have responded like the contender they expected to be and now, as we hit the homestretch, they've turned into a team that no one will want to face with their season on the line.

Saturday morning at the Kippy Mitchell Sports Complex, Gorham came to Scarborough seeking a signature victory and thanks to its excellence on penalty corners, managed to produce that very thing.
