Gorham girls blank TA in season opener

GORHAM—A new era for one of the state's premier girls' soccer programs began with a familiar result Friday evening.

With a victory.

The Gorham Rams, long a top contender in Class A South, welcoming a new coach in Andy Higgins, hosted up-and-coming Thornton Academy in the the teams' mutual season opener and the Rams, thanks to some precision long-range shooting, began their campaign with a flourish.
