SCARBOROUGH—After fighting through adversity nearly the entire 2025 season, you can rest assured that Gorham's field hockey team wasn't rattled by being down by a goal with a little over five minutes remaining in Tuesday's Class A South quarterfinal round playoff game at the Kippy Mitchell Sports Complex.

Instead, the fifth-ranked Rams had the No. 4 Scarborough Red Storm right where they wanted them.
