We're in the midst of a field hockey Golden Era. An era of triumph which figures to continue this fall.

A year ago, Cheverus captured its third consecutive Class A championship and its fourth in five seasons, but once again, Biddeford didn't make it easy.

In Class B, Freeport ruined Yarmouth's perfect season in the regional final, then dropped an agonizing state game decision to Belfast.

What will the 2026 campaign bring?
