Promising TA girls continue fast start, hand Cheverus first loss

PORTLAND—The future of the Thornton Academy girls' lacrosse team is very bright indeed.

So bright that the Golden Trojans don't want to wait.

They believe that their time is now.

And Thursday morning at Boulos Stadium, Thornton Academy continued its auspicious start to the season with an impressive win at top contender Cheverus, as every single goal was scored by a freshman or a sophomore.
