Rams' rally falls short against Wildcats in regional final

PORTLAND—A fantastic season for the Gorham/Massabesic boys' hockey team ended a round earlier than hoped, but the Rams made sure they went down fighting in the Class B South Final Wednesday afternoon at the Cross Insurance Arena against the second-ranked York/Biddeford/Old Orchard Beach co-op squad.

The top-seeded Rams were on their heels for much of the game, but they rose off the deck and took the Wildcats to the wire before falling just short.
