Scarborough girls respond to adversity, edge South Portland

SCARBOROUGH—Conceding a goal can't be avoided.

The question is, how will a team respond after surrendering one?

Especially a game-tying goal.

Thursday evening at the Kippy Mitchell Sports Complex, Scarborough's girls' soccer team saw its lead slip away.

And 14 seconds later, the Red Storm took it right back.

And that's why Scarborough is the reigning Class A South champion.

And has the necessary ingredients to make another title run.
