Scarborough sweeps Falmouth, rolls into semifinals

SCARBOROUGH—Top-ranked Scarborough wasted no time asserting itself against No. 9 Falmouth in a Class A state volleyball quarterfinal Saturday morning at Alumni Gymnasium.

Before many fans were even in their seats, a long service run from junior Natale Philibert produced an 11-0 first set lead and set the tone.

For what would become a straight sets victory.

And a step closer to a championship.
