SOUTH PORTLAND—It's safe to say that South Portland's football team was happy to welcome back senior quarterback and captain Parker Reny, who missed the past two games with a shoulder injury.

And it's even safer to say that Reny made the most of his return to action Friday evening against Scarborough at Martin Memorial Field.

As he threw five touchdown passes to lift the Red Riots to a pivotal victory in their quest for a playoff spot.
