TA volleyball beats Scarborough with surprising ease in playoff rematch

SACO—Thornton Academy's volleyball team wasted no time making a statement Thursday evening at the brand new Miles Field House.

Hosting revenge-minded Scarborough in showdown of two of the finest Class A squads in the state, the Golden Trojans shot to a decisive victory in the first set.

Thornton Academy took care of business in the second as well.

And the third?

It wasn't even close.

And as a result, the Golden Trojans continue to surge at the midway point of the campaign.
