CUMBERLAND—For much of the 2025 softball season, the Yarmouth Clippers have been able to build leads, but more often than not, they have slipped away.

However, Wednesday afternoon at Twin Brook Recreation Center, the Clippers built an early lead against Greely and answered each Rangers' rally with an uprising of their own and the end result was their biggest win of the season to date.

A victory that allowed Yarmouth to take one step closer to an elusive postseason berth.
