Waynflete girls pull away late for win at NYA

YARMOUTH—Waynflete's girls' basketball team hadn't delivered the knockout blow and the host North Yarmouth Academy Panthers appeared poised to make the Flyers pay late in Wednesday evening's battle between the ancient rivals at Curtis Gymnasium.

But Waynflete turned it up a notch down the stretch, got some easy looks and managed to do something that no one on the roster had ever done.
