Yarmouth boys meet their match in loss at York

YORK—Last June, York's boys' lacrosse team watched as rival Yarmouth stole away a state title in improbable fashion.

A month ago, the Wildcats went to Yarmouth and scored one goal in 48 minutes.

Friday afternoon, York hosted the Clippers on Senior Day and the Wildcats weren't about to be frustrated again.

And once its offense came to life, York's defense followed suit and the end result was a pivotal late-season victory.

With the promise of one final showdown still to come.
