Yarmouth/Freeport pulls away late, eliminates Brunswick in semifinals

AUBURN—The Yarmouth/Freeport girls' hockey co-op team holds itself to a high standard.

It expects to play in championship games.

And to make that happen, Yarmouth/Freeport had to fight off one of its most difficult opponents, the Brunswick Dragons, in a North Region semifinal Saturday afternoon at Norway Bank Savings Arena.

And playing like the champion it hopes to become, Yarmouth/Freeport was at its best with the game hanging in the balance.

And a trip to the regional final was the reward.
