Yarmouth takes it to Freeport in rivals' first showdown

YARMOUTH—It's safe to say that Yarmouth's field hockey team has been looking forward to getting another shot at rival Freeport.

The Clippers had to stew for 11 months after their perfect season was ruined by the Falcons in last year's regional final.

Tuesday evening, Yarmouth got its shot at revenge.

And served it up cold.

With a flourish.
