Cape roars back to stun Yarmouth in five-set thriller
YARMOUTH—There were thrills, twists and turns and breathtaking athletic feats on both sides of the court Thursday evening at Stroud Gymnasium.
And that was merely in the fifth set of a showdown between Cape Elizabeth and its longtime rival, host Yarmouth.
It looked like it might be a short night for the Capers, as they dropped the first two sets, but instead, in an effort which might just turn their season around, they roared back for an inspirational victory.
