Cheverus denies Biddeford once more with fourth quarter surge

PORTLAND—Cheverus found a way.

And Biddeford was left shaking its head in frustration and disappointment.

Again.

Friday afternoon at Boulos Stadium, the rivals, who are also arguably the two best field hockey teams in Class A South, if not the entire state, met for the first of two guaranteed meetings this fall, with a third in the playoffs almost a certainty.

And the end result was a story that has played out multiple times in recent seasons.
