Falmouth figures it out, gets critical win over Gorham

FALMOUTH—Ben Robbins figures to sleep better this weekend than he did last.

A week ago, Falmouth's reigning Class B champion football team dropped an overtime heartbreaker at rival Greely, as Robbins' last-ditch pass on a trick play fell incomplete.

And Robbins, a senior who does a little of everything on the gridiron, consequently spent an inordinate amount of time thinking about that near-miss in the middle of the night.

Friday, however, Robbins and his teammates got back to their winning ways when Gorham paid a visit in a midseason showdown.
