KENNEBUNK—Falmouth's football team played like the defending state champion it is Friday evening at powerhouse Kennebunk.

But ultimately, despite a valiant, heroic effort, the third-seeded Navigators couldn't quite pull off a dramatic come-from-behind victory at the second-ranked Rams.
