Freeport girls believe their time has come

The 2026 Freeport girls' soccer season actually began last Halloween.

The night the Falcons' 2025 campaign ended in agonizing fashion.

Freeport had undefeated, top-ranked, seemingly unbeatable Cape Elizabeth on the ropes in the Class B South semifinals at Hannaford Field before the Capers scored in controversial fashion in overtime to survive, 2-1, and take another step toward their eventual state title.

The Falcons have been biding their time ever since and now, they believe they're ready to take the final step and go somewhere this program has never gone before.
