Gorham girls hold off Cheverus in season opener

GORHAM—Gorham's girls' soccer team has heard the noise.

That the Rams aren't quite as good this year as they've been in the past.

And they disagree.

Thursday afternoon, Gorham got a chance to do something about it when it hosted Cheverus in the teams' mutual season opener and the Rams went out and do what they're accustomed to doing.

Win.

And even better, there's still room for improvement.
