PORTLAND—It doesn't always come with style points attached, but the Greely girls' basketball team has mastered the art of doing what it takes to win so far in the 2025-26 season.

Saturday afternoon, as part of the Holiday Hoops Showcase at the Portland Exposition Building, the Rangers took on Class B South rival Freeport in a countable contest and dug a double-digit deficit, but they were unfazed and roared back for yet another victory.
