Greely overcomes mistakes, hands Hermon first setback

CUMBERLAND—Greely's football team committed far too many penalties and uncharacteristic turnovers Friday evening at Glenn A. Hutchins Field.

That was the bad news.

The good news is that it didn't matter a bit.

And the end result was a pivotal late-season statement-making victory over visiting Hermon, which came to town undefeated.

And left being reminded that the road to the Class C state championship still goes through the defending champs.
