Leavitt's statement victory brings Greely's streak to an end

CUMBERLAND—Leavitt's football team came to Glenn A. Hutchins Field Thursday evening on a mission.

And it's safe to say the end result was mission accomplished.

Visiting Greely in a rematch of last year's Class C state final, won decisively by the Rangers, the Hornets took control early and never looked back.

And in the process, produced a signature victory which served notice that this year, the road to the championship goes through Turner.
