Poland boys stagger Freeport early en route to decisive win

FREEPORT—Freeport's boys' basketball team came into Wednesday evening's home tilt versus Poland hungry for a signature victory.

The Knights, meanwhile, came to town hungry to snap a recent skid.

Ultimately, it would be Poland that got to eat well.

Thanks to a dominant early performance which quickly broke the contest open.
