Portland boys hold on, knock South Portland from unbeaten ranks

PORTLAND—Portland's boys' basketball team has had its share of difficulty closing out victories so far this winter.

Saturday afternoon, facing rival South Portland as part of the Holiday Hoops Showcase at the Portland Exposition Building, the Bulldogs weren't about to let that happen again.

And as a result, the Red Riots are unblemished no longer.
