Scarborough's late score stuns Cheverus
PORTLAND—You never know what you're going to get in Class A girls' lacrosse this spring.
One team might be surging, the other struggling, but the end result could be something completely unforseen.
Which leads us to what transpired Thursday afternoon at Boulos Stadium, where the Cheverus Stags, riding high and making history, took on a Scarborough Red Storm team less than 48 hours removed from a 10-goal loss.
And naturally, the Red Storm prevailed.
Because Class A girls' lacrosse defies all rhyme and reason.
