Soule gets redemption, Greely walks off Fryeburg in regional final

GORHAM—It turns out there is crying in baseball.
Poetic justice too.
And at long last, a regional championship for the Greely Rangers.
One that was worth waiting for.
Tuesday evening at Ed Flaherty Field on the campus of the University of Southern Maine, the second-seeded Rangers appeared poised for another heartbreaking ending against Cinderella eighth-ranked Fryeburg Academy in the Class B South Final.
Until Greely got up off the deck and rallied for an unforgettable victory.
Thanks to a redemptive swing from sensational sophomore shortstop Kyle Soule.
