SACO—Digging a seven-run hole and having to rally against one of the best pitchers around isn't exactly a recipe for success.

But Thornton Academy's baseball team somehow made it work Tuesday afternoon when it hosted Gorham in a wild Class A South contest.

Rallying for its biggest win of the season in the process.

A victory which might just propel the Golden Trojans to even bigger things down the road.
