TA rides the Ayoob Express to emphatic win at Bonny Eagle

STANDISH—Thornton Academy senior captain Connor Ayoob has produced his share of memorable performances so far this autumn.

Friday evening, however, on the road, against a powerhouse, undefeated team, with homefield advantage for the playoffs hanging in the balance, Ayoob authored his piece de resistance.

A 40-carry, 304-yard masterpiece that not only led the Golden Trojans to a decisive and pivotal victory over rival Bonny Eagle, but one that will have positive repercussions for weeks to come.
