Westbrook continues fairy tale run with regional final win over Kennebunk

WESTBROOK—You can no longer call Westbrook's football team a Cinderella.

Now, you can call the long downtrodden Blue Blazes something much, much better.

Regional champions.

Friday evening, at a packed Olmsted Field, Westbrook continued the greatest season in program history with its biggest victory to date.

Over reigning regional champion Kennebunk in the Class B South Final.

And just one more challenge awaits for Destiny's Darlings.

As the Blue Blazes will play for their first Gold Ball next weekend.
