TA rises to the challenge, earns key win at Windham

WINDHAM—When Thornton Academy's field hockey gets its passing game going, look out.

The Golden Trojans are a joy to watch and can play with anyone.

Friday afternoon, Thornton Academy clicked from one end of the field to the other, but the host Windham Eagles made nothing easy, twice rallying to tie the score.

But the Golden Trojans weren't about to be denied and got a third quarter goal to earn a pivotal midseason victory and hint that even better things might await down the road.
