Yarmouth rises off the deck to edge Greely in softball opener

CUMBERLAND—A five-run lead had melted away and with three outs to go, Yarmouth's softball team found itself trailing host Greely for the first time Thursday afternoon at Twin Brook Recreation Center.

But instead of sulking or going quietly down to defeat, the Clippers answered back in encouraging fashion in the teams' mutual season opener.

Scoring two runs in the top of the seventh inning to produce an inspirational victory.
