GORHAM—Cape Elizabeth's girls' lacrosse team is at it again.

Ruining the playoff dreams of its higher-seeded foes.

Wednesday afternoon at Hannaford Field on the campus of the University of Southern Maine, the 11th-ranked Capers, who embarked on a stirring run to the semifinals a year ago as the No. 13 seed, spotted No. 6 Scarborough a couple of early goals.

Then carried play the rest of the way.

And as a result, they'll get a chance to spring yet another upset in a couple days time.
