Yarmouth ekes out dramatic prelim win over Poland

YARMOUTH—After a year away from stealing postseason headlines, Yarmouth's baseball team is back in the title hunt.

And that's bad news for the rest of Class B South..

Because the Clippers are wasting no time relying on their recipe of one part lockdown pitching mixed with a dose of timely hitting to survive and advance.

Tuesday afternoon, sixth-ranked Yarmouth welcomed No. 11 Poland for a preliminary round playoff game and while the Clippers faced some adversity, they rose to the occasion to live to play another day.
