LEWISTON—Saturday's Class B state final was a celebration for Freeport's field hockey program.

Win or lose.

And while the Falcons ultimately dropped a one-goal heartbreaker to reigning champion Belfast at Don Roux Field on the campus of Lewiston High School, it didn't diminish what they accomplished this year.

And the past three.
