Thornton Academy rides fast start to narrow win at Gorham

GORHAM—Thornton Academy's field hockey team has lofty aspirations this fall.

The Golden Trojans want to duplicate the feat of the school's girls' lacrosse team, since they have many of the same players, and steal postseason headlines.

And while October is a long way away, Thornton Academy appears to have what it takes to be a major factor this season.
