HHSS Baseball Preview: No clear favorites as an exciting new season dawns

Last June, after several painful near-misses, Greely's baseball team returned to the pinnacle in breathtaking fashion.

This spring, the Rangers look to do it again, as one of several teams from the coverage area capable of making a title run.

Greely finished 17-3 in 2025, rallying for four runs in the top of the seventh inning to shock Ellsworth, 6-5, to capture the Class B championship for the first time in a decade. While the Rangers have some big holes to fill, they also return some top-notch talent and are ready to mix in some newer players to keep them atop the heap.
