SCARBOROUGH—South Portland's softball team has flown under the radar so far this season.

And that's just the way the Red Riots like it.

And now, at the beginning of a season-defining schedule stretch, South Portland's confidence is soaring, thanks in large part to a revenge-is-sweet victory Wednesday afternoon over longtime rival/nemesis Scarborough at the Kippy Mitchell Sports Complex.
