SACO—The Thornton Academy Golden Trojans girls' lacrosse team has crashed the party.

And if you thought that reigning champion Windham and perennial powerhouse Kennebunk were all alone as the class of Class A, guess again.

Friday afternoon at Hill Stadium, the Eagles put their 20-game win streak on the line at the Golden Trojans and they weren't able to stretch it to 21.

As instead, Thornton Academy made the most impressive statement of the young season so far.
