TA girls soar past Scarborough in rain-shortened contest

SCARBOROUGH—Not even Mother's Nature wrath can stop Thornton Academy's girls' lacrosse team.

Thursday evening at the Kippy Mitchell Sports Complex, the surging Golden Trojans not only had to deal with the upset-minded Scarborough Red Storm, they had to do so in a downpour.

But has been the case with almost everything the past couple of weeks, Thornton Academy not only met the challenge, it rose above and continued to stake its claim as a top contender in Class A.
