WINDHAM—Last Friday afternoon, Windham's girls' lacrosse team walked off the field at Thornton Academy with an unfamiliar feeling.

A feeling borne from being on the wrong side of the scoreboard.

For the first time in 21 games.

Tuesday evening, the Eagles got an opportunity to hand someone else its first loss, and they did so, quickly rebounding with a decisive home victory over Falmouth.

Thanks in large part to a return-to-form performance from senior scoring machine Abby Trainor.
