STANDISH—Windham won it all a year ago, but Bonny Eagle was the Class A South softball team that got an abundance of preseason attention this spring.

Wednesday afternoon, the Scots showed why they were so highly touted.

Letting their bats do the talking in an early-season, statement victory over the defending champions.
