PORTLAND—Falmouth's girls' lacrosse team has struggled to find consistency over the second half of the regular season, but two nights after an upset home loss to Scarborough, the Navigators saved their best for last Wednesday evening at home against rival Yarmouth.

The Clippers pushed Falmouth to the brink on several occasions, but in a promising development, the Navigators pushed back and made just enough plays to finish in style.

With a confidence-building victory.
